Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker
About the Program
The Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker Program works to support youth, ages 12-25 years, who may be experiencing challenges related to mental health, addictions, trauma, relationship violence, human or sex trafficking or may be involved in criminal activity. The EYOW also supports the youth’s family and caregivers. This service is offered throughout Durham Region.
Youth may engage the EYOW independently or may be referred by a Youth Outreach Worker or community agency.
EYOW is a mobile community outreach service and efforts are made to ensure continuity of service, regardless of the youth’s location.
