The Community Support Team offers moderate to long-term, mobile, and multi-systemic therapeutic counselling support to youth, ages 12-17, in conflict with the law and their families. Building a trusting relationship with clients, ourinterdisciplinary team encourages the development of coping strategies, life skills, and self-confidence to direct positive change. 

 

DFCC receives referrals for this program from Probation, and makes the serviceavailable throughout Durham Region. The program includes various individual, group and family therapy, e.g. Support Group for Parents and Caregivers of Adolescents Who Sexually Offend, as well as therapeutic overnight camp programs.
