DFCC’s volunteer Board of Directors is committed to be reflective of the diversity of Durham Region and is currently seeking applications from interested individuals for:

i) Three (3) Directors with specific skill-sets/expertise in the following areas: fundraising, fund development, and or marketing; and/or strategic planning and non profit Board Governance including policy development; and

ii) Community Representatives on the Board’s Fund Development Committee.

For over 35 years DFCC has provided a wide range of high quality prevention and intervention programs for children, youth and families in Durham Region. DFCC receives the majority of its funding from the provincial Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Being a Director at DFCC consequently entails responsibilities and commitment. Joining the Board or Board Committee is a 2 year commitment, with possibility for extension. For more information about DFCC, please go to
